ummmm i casually like the bee gees and i’m looking forward to the music? i think this is like the least popular opinion possible, maybe only above mike chang hate.

idk tho, a lot of their songs could be tweaked to not be all disco-cheesy. destiny’s child had a hit with “emotions,” and i think “to love somebody” and “how deep is your love?” are legitimately beautiful. and fuck, “i started a joke” could be the theme song for the pairing of glee/glee fans.

Oh, I’m not saying disco sucks; I’m pretty open minded.

I just think it’s funny that two years ago they were saying how horribly unpopular it would be and they should never do it unless they want fruit thrown at them and now they’re doing a whole episode devoted to it :P

I think the difference that should be noted here, though, is a) attitudes toward the glee club have obviously changed since then, and most importantly, b) I don’t think they’re performing these songs in front of the school.  I still don’t think they’d get up and do the Bee Gee’s at a pep rally, but the choir room seems fine for it.
